Celebrate Recovery

 

Alcoholism - Divorce - Sexual Abuse - Codependency - Domestic Violence - Drug Addiction - Sexual Addiction. These words are about more than "issues." They're about people who sit as close to us as the next pew -- or our own.

 

People struggling with problems that sermons or Bible studies alone won't solve. But there is a way the church can help the hurting move beyond their wounds to experience the healing and liberty of Christ.

 

Celebrate Recovery fills a long-standing need in the church in its role as Christ's healing agent. Developed by John Baker and Rick Warren of the renowned Saddleback Church, this program's life-changing effectiveness has gained it an explosive, grass-roots popularity.

 

Drawn from the Beatitudes (Matthew 5), Celebrate Recovery helps people resolve painful problems in the context of the church as a whole. Rather than setting up an isolated recovery community, it helps participants and their churches come together and discover new levels of care, acceptance, trust, and grace. This fellowship-based curriculum truly will be a celebration of Christ in the life of your church and its members.

Touching Hearts enables you to overcome the challenges of life. It offers healing and the wholeness out of which you can bless those around you, as a:

Ons glo in Goddelike genesing as ‘n ingrype van God in die lewe van mense, en dat handoplegging en salwing met olie Bybelse voorskrifte is. Daarom is u welkom om ons ko-ordineerder te skakel om 'n besoek aan u te reël.

 

Hulle sal u bedien met liefde en met geloof in volle genesing volgens die beloftes uit die skrif.

 

Ons glo dat die Kerk relevant moet wees sonder om af te wyk van die waarheid van die Woord.
I Kor. 9:19-23.

 

Ons glo dat liefdevolle verhoudinge ‘n kenmerk moet wees van elke aspek van die lewe.
I Kor.13; Luk.10:1; Joh.13:34-35.

 

Bedieningsraamwerk

 

Val Rademeyer en Sybil Slabbert werk sedert 2009 saam met die gemeente se maatskaplike werker en terapeut, Thelma Kritzinger. Hulle hanteer die gevalle wat nie offisiele berading of terapie nodig het nie.

 

Gevalle word hoofsaaklik in ’n sorggroep ingeskakel en hulle verwelkom nie net vennote van Deo Doxa nie meer enige lid van die gemeenskap.

 

Die volgende gevalle word hanteer:

  • Liefde van Jesus aan almal

  • Siekeversorging

  • Goddelike genesing

  • Geestelike ondersteuning – groep op Donderdae

  • Sosiale Terapieprogramme

  • Woordbediening

  • Gebedsversoeke

  • Rouberading

  • Heilige Gees berading

  • Geestelike bevryding
